The heat meter is a scrapped thing where if you defeat enough enemies, the meter will fill up and enemies will have new attacks that they can use but they give you more score.

mod was made on eggplant build, before the release. you can call it "pre-steam" if you want. in eggplant levels was slightly different, no bosses, no hub, heatmeter, and some not very big changes.

The animations for the vigilante were actually not made by the developers of the mod. The vigilante used to be a playable character in the old pizza tower demos. So the actual animations came from an old demo

the heat meter makes enemies harder to hit the more it fills up. it fills up more when you kill more enemies, but it can also emptied when you get damaged by enemies. in fact, it can even give or take away more points when it does fill up. i believe it was used in the eggplant build, but it was a mixed opinion from the community. some people liked it, some people hated it. however, it's nice that you can always turn it off in the mod settings.

The characters aren’t really new their actually unused back in older builds you could play as the noise which is what most people know but the vigilante was also supposed to be playable and I think pepperman was also supposed to be playable Edit: and when pizza time started the music was different for each character Peppino had the same pizza time music like he does now but the noise and vigilante had different themes and pepper man wasn’t really worked on so they canceled him And pizelle is self explanatory (Sugary Spire)
