Oh that's quite a challenge actually. Because since your clothes are full black and the peppino clones are darker clothes versions, in this case you could have trouble telling which is which just from perspective.

The thing is that the fakes generally use different moves than the real one, so it's not as much of a guessing game as it seems. What I noticed while watching this though is that when using the black clothes you can't tell how much HP you have, because the hat and the 'empty slot' look exactly the same.

The dark cook clothes are actually perfect as a hard mode for these bosses without having to actually do any coding, because 1. In this video it shows how you can't tell apart the clones from the real fake peppino, and 2. The black hides how much health you actually have since empty hit points look just like the dark cook clothes.

This is a demonstration of why I really love Fakey here as a boss. Thus was by no means easy, but it is incredibly satisfying. Fakey is very rewarding to be aggressive against - you unlocking his vulnerability by beating him into it, rather than wait for the boss to just finish their attack. He's such a good boss.
