Pizza Tower Chef's Kiss - The Noise Showcase

Just wanted to throw in some CK Noise stuff before the Noise update comes out and we merge our Noise with it. He wont change that much but still, sprites will be replaced with new ones.
Also, for those wondering, the lap 2 theme is Pasta La Vista, composed by shadexxx, which we got permission to use for Chef's Kiss.

@@JAYIQ-ip6bdSeems to be okay so far, there's just a lot. We're still porting it bit by bit whenever coders can work on it. Basic moveset for Noise and most forms are done though. Works well with the CK stuff.

In the chef's kiss released build, Noise could swap between pogo and skate with pressing A, I think with A he'll swap between this and the official moveset

The Noise update came out and the real Noise move set is SO FUCKIN’ GOOD and so fun to play as, so i kinda don't want both Noises to fused into one character, unless if you could toggle and untoggle it in a menu or something

When merging with our Noise, he will only receive additions, not full changes most of the time. We're already experimenting with it and it just feels like an even more fun official Noise. So don't worry about it being ruined.

@@CowboyCheeseslimeOnly thing that will actually change is his suplex grab that's just like Peppino's will change to a more polished and touched up version of the spin attack from the video, it will work in movement almost identically to the grab but wont have to stop and throw enemies to kill them, increasing his pace and making him feel more distinct. And the old grab will be an option on top of that anyway if people really prefer it, but after trying the spin on this Noise I imagine they wont, the spin feels way better than having the annoying grab move.

man people really don't know nothing about development cycles because playtesting means it's on the state of bug fixing and well... playtesting, that means right now the devs already got half-way through in the gameplay department and they want to see if it got any issues to deal with before they add the finishing touches like if a pizza time is particulary strict when doing lap 2, if there's a oversight, if it feels good to play, if a part was fine with peppino but annoying as noise, if either distateful anchovy or worldwide noise has good way to loop properly and not one that's easy to spot or repeats a single part over and over again that could be annoying for levels like oh sh*t, if something in his moveset and physics feels weird. those types of things that's more on just how it feels to play and it's not even accounting for graphics like title-cards, promotional material for steam and the trailer for when it releases

no, that only means that the sprites and audios will change to the updated ones and also the noise update isn't around the corner but it won't be releasing as late as you think. around a half-a-month or so for the finishing touches and refinements

Didn't you say "other character showcases (Snick being next)"? but hey its cool to get a glimpse of how this Noise would work while the Noise update hasn't released yet. Also at 7:06 its cool to see Mr. Orange making an apperance instead of Doise (I still hope Doise still makes an appearance in a major way). I also REALLY love how you guys reused the old boss arena for Mr. Orange and even made the Noise Balloon into a Orange Mech if intentional or not. Really hammers in the fact that Mr. Orange is more of a grumpy mechanic then Noise being a happy yet insane showstar.

They are merging him with the official Noise. As far as I know, they are experimenting with the official Noise to see how they could make him work with their Noise moveset (shown in the video) without making him a mess to play as. The spin grab and sueplex move are getting changes, and the spin grab can be changed in the settings to the standard grab move, although the director stated that people won’t have to change it because it’s better. Edit: I’m just to get your worries out the way, apparently Mr. Orange and The Doise we’ll have two separate boss door, meaning that neither one of them will get cut.

In CK, only Peppino and Gustavo swap with each other. No other character swaps in those sections, they will just have altered layouts to fit them, Snick will even use one of his new forms in Gnome Forest. In the official Noise update it also seems to be this way as we see Noise in Gustavo sections of Gnome Forest in the teaser.

Giving a mod character a different attack method is all fun and games until you remember they'll have to beat Pizzaface phase 1 somehow

We don't just make edits and not take any of that into account, the final boss will be adjusted for this. Even level design has been tweaked for characters already in little places if necessary, without changing the overall feel of the levels. So don't worry about that, final boss situation might be weird for everyone but Peppino anyway in the end potentially. Edit: and by changing the levels in places, I don't mean overall for everyone, levels change slightly depending on who you are playing as.

I'll add this here because I forgot to mention it, and we're altering the final boss probably anyway but Noise does actually have a way to spin enemies upward if you hold up when spinning into them, I do it in the footage but it's hard to tell. So that fight with Pizzaface is beatable anyway as our current Noise.
