PizzaBandit Teaser Trailer Released, Alpha Testing Begins

Seoul, Korea - May 30, 2024 - Indie developer JofSoft today announced Pizza Bandit, a high-intensity mission-based third-person shooter for one to four players. Players will experience mid- to close-range combat with dodge rolls and unstoppable, up-tempo action that will leave them on the edge of death! The three-week alpha test, which begins today and runs through June 16, 2024, can be accessed through the game's Steam page.

Set in a time-travelable future, "Pizza Bandit's" protagonist Malik is a former mercenary with a passion for running a pizza parlor. When the pizza parlor flops, he is forced to return to his old life and takes on a bounty hunter to keep his dream alive. As a time-traveling bounty hunter, he takes on missions that take him through different eras, timelines, and dangers.
The pizza parlor he runs is an important base from which to regroup, strategize, and equip himself for the thrilling conflict that lies ahead. Players can help Malik take on the cruel world of bounty hunters while ensuring the survival of his beloved pizzeria in his trusty time machine.
Gameplay Features:
Dodge rolling in action: In combat, the best way to survive is to roll and stitch your way to death between enemies and bullets.
Adrenaline-pumping encounters: Fast-paced battles require quick reflexes and even quicker thinking.
Missions and Combat: Gameplay blends iconic mission and combat mechanics like the pizza-baking of "Overcooked" with the over-the-shoulder third-person shooter of "Gears of War". Each mission has five difficulty levels, with higher difficulty levels offering bonus rewards.
Customizable Weapons: Players can modify their weapons with various components found during missions. By strategically combining these components in specific sequences, weapons can be enhanced with new effects and improvements.
Bounty Contracts: Bounty contracts with specific objectives that span multiple missions can provide special rewards (experience, loot, cash) and unlock new weapons and equipment to enhance gameplay.
Online cooperative play for 1-4 players: Mission difficulty is adjusted according to the number of people in your squad, but sometimes the biggest challenge is working with your allies. Friendly fire is allowed, further adding to the tension and strategy.
