Fay Baker, who plays the countess, had a memorable role in the unusual noir The House on Telegraph Hill around 1949 or 1950 with Richard Basehart and Valentina Cortese. Fun show! Enjoyed this, thanks for posting.

The restoration is wonderful , the acting is terrible and the plots are thin. But it's good to see these old shows preserved forever. Thanks so much!

A very good episode of "Dangerous Assignment" with Brian Donlevy as Steve Mitchell. I enjoyed "Dangerous Assignment" both on radio and on this posted television series.

Boy do I remember this series on TV as a kid. My brother and I used to watch my parents look at it every week. But one day my mother saw my brother try to throw one of her big kitchen knives at a neighbor's kid. Horrified, she ran outside and the other kid told her "that's Allright Mrs Smith we were just playing Dangerious Assignment. My mother sure straightened out my brother. But later I heard my father and my uncle laughing about the incident. The 50's were just that way. Hey, it was the real America back then

Look for William Boyett (1927-2004) of HIGHWAY PATROL and ADAM-12 fame as "Joe Smith" (around 6:54)......

That is a great tip. Thanks. I saw him on an A Team running a roach coach truck from the 80's.

When I saw name Fay Baker in credits I thought that's what Tammy Fay did in her younger years.

I am sure you could go back almost 70 years and find irony to most ancient TV if you looked for it.
