Captain Allen is none other than John Ridgley! Ridgely was under contract at Warner's and had some really juicy rolls with the heavy hitters! He worked with Cary Grant, Bogey and many others! Watch him go nose to nose with Bogey in "The Big Sleep". Great career cut short by a premature death at 58.

accents are bad--easy to tell they are not German , etc. .Accents come and go-- series is cool though.
