Akira Tsuneoka made me want to learn drums In my younger years in middle school. I loved any and all punk music and instantly fell in love with Hi-standard’s sound when I first discovered them 15 years ago. Now I’m 27 years old and makes me sad that he is no longer with us. I’ll forever be grateful to Akira. Gone, but will never be forgotten. ❤

Big fan of Hi-Standard from Bali!! I also have a band bringing some Hi-Standard's songs. Listen to their music since my teenager days now 35. I wish you guys got some gigs in Indonesia anytime soon. Thank you for your music!
こういう3人を見ると、俺が高校時代に擦り切れるくらい観てたAttack from the far eastのVHSの時と髪型以外ほとんど一緒なんだよな。
Hi- Standard really changed up my life around covid time. Was working a job that was too monotonous to not have music. I was really getting bored of music I was listening to at that time and accidentally came across "Stay Gold". Absolutely reignited my joy in music, even today after diving deeper into Hi-Standard I've yet to find other bands that really pull me in like you guys have. The only other band that really drags me in like this has been S☆CREATERS but their stuff is borderline impossible to find here in the US. Anyway I'm really sorry about your loss, you guys are very inspiring, thanks for all the content over the years!
