It's perhaps a lot easier nowadays. The expense of cameras, I mean they couldn't have used a super-8 or a camcorder... But today I am 100% sure there are music videos shot on an iPhone. This is handy though, since almost no artist today will be given a budget in the way they were in early 90s.
