PJ Jacobsen - Reigniting The Flame

Patrick Jacobsen, often known as PJ, was born in New York but spent most of his upbringing from the age of three at race tracks across the United States and eventually around the world. He began his journey by claiming dozens of national dirt track racing championships before transitioning to asphalt and pursuing his dreams in Europe. Over the past 20 years, he has raced against some of the world's best motorcycling talents.
All of these experiences have led him back home to the MotoAmerica championship, where he has spent the last several years facing the highs and lows that a racer can encounter, both on and off the track. At 30 years old and fresh off of his first MotoAmerica Superbike victory, PJ sat down with us to share his journey, as well as some of the mysteries that have left many wondering who he really is and what makes him such an incredibly talented rider.

Another great one guys. I followed Pj during his WSSP days. Never understood why he wasn’t supported by the Americans the same way others have been. I love the long format of the podcast, the questions into their mindsets and not just the typical grid interview questions. Keep them coming

I was at a Brainerd track day earlier this season when the whole Tytlers team and some other MA racers were out testing. I remember PJ was the only MA guy who showed up to the regular rider meeting in the morning, chatting with the regular track day riders and club racers. He could have blown it off but it was cool of him to show up. Plus I got a free fireworks show every time he passed me on the BMW, those bikes love to shoot flames! Maybe led to some good karma later in the season with his 2-1 finishes at BIR. I was definitely rooting for him!
