PJ is great trailer. I had mine about 2 years. Just change my tires to 14 ply. Becareful with them ramps. They are heavy. Getting ready to change my ramps out.

I have a king ranch trailer 32 ft long goose neck and my trailer came with two tool boxes but didn’t come with with the dunage compartment I seen you have a lot of stuff for loads but do you have edge protectors if so explain to the ppl how important those are. Also do you have a drag up tank if so can you do a video explaining how many miles you get plus the cost of filling up.

Nice, thanks for the vid. I noticed you have a lock on the hitch part? It's weird, I am leaning hot shot over box truck. Partly because I am a big guy and sitting in a box truck for hours might not be comfortable for me. But one of the pickups has to be comfortable for my 6'2" length and bad back.

I was curious about the door tag on that ram, my 2018 ram single real wheel has a GVWR of 12,300, so I had to de-rate my trailer to be able to drive without CDL. be safe out there

Having the weight over the drive axles instead of the bumper allows you to transfer more weight to the tow vehicle

You can de rate your trailer to 12k. Be available to scale more. You have to be 26000 gwr truck and trailer together to be non cdl. Dually Truck weighs 9k and trailer 6k = 15k then able to carry 10,50

What up bro, you can get loads for non cdl Hotshot on load boards like Truck Stop, DAT etc. I have a dispatcher from the company I’m leased on to so I don’t book my own loads. I believe you will need at least a 3/4 ton truck for hotshot.

You need to get a much better lock for that trailer. That lock is a POS that can be broken in seconds. With all you have invested in that trailer, invest in a good lock. I have gooseneck trailers and each have a Proven Industries lock. Not cheap but worth it. I have 5 trailers and all have the same lock and are keyed alike to make it easy.

I’m really considering getting into this business and have a question about the haul weight. I saw non cdl can’t have a max load of more then 10,000 pounds including the trailer weight. How are you able to haul more than that?

I don’t usually haul more than 10,000lbs on my trailer. As long as your scale weight is under 26001 lbs when loaded you will be fine

I’m out of Houston and am trying to start my own hauling company. Been studying up on how to run a hotshot company for about 5 years now always been a financial issue on starting it up but man over the past years seeing everything go up to an extremely high price unless I get lucky and find a investor I don’t think im going to have it running in the next 5 years I’m going to be 40 50 by the time I’m able to afford the equipment
