I find the smaller church and orchestra very fitting for Stardew Valley, especially compared to the Elden Ring one. Stardew is such a cozy game with such a wholesome community and the smaller room really emphasises on that!

My friend and I were at the concert that night too (I saw you in the lobby but was too nervous to say hello haha!) and we just kept looking at each other grinning and saying ‘this is so cool’ 😂 It was definitely an incredibly special experience, it was great to relive it again through you ☺️

I got to go to the evening show in Austin for the sdv concert and had an equally wonderful but very different experience. The entire audience was adults, presumably because there was an early afternoon show the same day and families with young kids went to that one instead. The audience had more energy than some rock concerts I've been to! The conductor kept leaning into our energy and encouraging us to cheer (the musicians seemed to be having a blast as well) so we cheered every time the percussionist played the woodblock, whooped after every solo, and someone actually shouted "**** Pierre!" after the conductor's joke, leading to a big crowd reaction. There was also someone walking around cosplaying as Abigail before the show handing people rocks and saying "don't snack during the show!" It was genuinely the best concert experience I've ever been to! I'm so glad you got to go and had such a wonderful time as well!

I was lucky enough to be at the Stardew show in Birmingham (the night before yours) and this video still managed to give me chills hearing the music again. Into the deep woods was by far the highlight of the night for me I was so happy when they played it, I think a lot of people were.

I feel so fortunate that I got to see the stardew show in Berlin. A once in a lifetime opportunity. I got teary eyed at the first note and multiple times throughout the evening. It was different people performing and a different conductor but they all agree on not liking pierre haha

Whilst I've never played Stardew Valley, I think I can relate emotionally. Pokémon and Animal Crossing are 'my' games that hold a similar place in my heart. These kinds of experiences, that aren't necessarily mainstream or oftentimes people don't understand the passion behind them, are so rewarding when you get to engage with something you love in such an intimate way surrounded by people that get it. You can tell the audience really appreciated the experience and I think, and hope, the orchestra felt that too. You can certainly feel how emotionally touched you were by it all. Ever since videos of the the Pokémon Symphonic Evolutions tour of 2016 surfaced online, I've been desperately wanting to attend a Pokémon orchestra for similar reasons. Unfortunately at that time I was just too young and not financially independent enough to experience it. Next year I'm living my dream in other ways by finally visiting Japan to satisfy the Pokémon nerd inside me. I'm just hoping a Pokémon orchestra will return in the near future, as I deeply regret letting the opportunity pass me by in 2016.
