the butterfly one is quite impressive! even I was hypnotised by it, is it like a magnetic thing? Fuji is the best floof and needs her own toy review channel haha but seriously, since my sister got her own kitty watching people trying to play with disinterested cats became my favourite thing.

The butterfly is attached to the lid by a clear plastic thread. The batteries in the lid power the butterfly. If it doesn't move you can tap the lid ✌

It is such a cat thing to go for the cheapest toy ever. I got gifted a pile of cat toys for my cat Nadia, but still her favorite is this ragged-ass "mouse" I made for her from old socks. (Sew old broken sock into "mouse" shapey, use leftovers and other sock from the pair as stuffing - cat goes nuts)

I bought him stuff thinking he'd like, but he wasn't so impressed and did not play with anything. Then I bought some silly blue fuzzy worm on a stick - and my cat is obsessed. He ASKS to play with it, I didn't see him so into something for a long time. And this worm was like the cheapest thing. Cats.

be careful letting about not letting Fuji outside too often. We just lost our cat with a white nose/face area to squamice cell carcinoma, a skin cancer caused by sun exposure. It spread to her nasal cavity and throat and made breathing and eating too difficult. Apparently cats with "sparsely pigmented" high points on their faces (like a white nose or ear area) are more prone to it. We had no idea and I felt horrible knowing it was preventable, I don't want another cat owner to go through that.

You should try a weasel ball. My cats love it and the flopping fish that are rechargeable. They carry those around the house. As well as cat toy springs.

the YEOWWW toys are incredible, i got a big banana one from my dad (for my cat) for Christmas and my cat loved it so much it's completely flat/deflated now. i'm pretty sure they have this catnip in them that makes them particularly nuts lol
