Aw all the boys in this family are such gentlemen and really look after Sisters and eachother. Even in a interveiw one mentioned they felt bad that they didnt know and couldnt help their sister
@jonaeflure5 жыл бұрын
Brothers couldn't help their sister's and sister couldn't help their brothers. Everyone suffered one form of abuse or another. Thank goodness they're all free now...
@crazyhai65545 жыл бұрын
It must be very hard to cope with. Not only are the boys suffering the impact of physical and psychological abuse on their own wellbeing, they know their sisters were raped. By a father they probably loved, despite his evilness. It's so much to cope with, and work through. I hope they can all find healing in each other, and know it takes time. There will be bad days. And I hope the boys can serve as healthier male role models for the younger siblings. I remember something observant that John-David Duggar said, when Josh Duggar's latest sex scandals came out a few years back. He said growing up, he idolised his older brother (as children often do), and wanted to be just like him. I know what he means - my younger male cousin idolises my brother (and me to some extent, although less because I'm female. It's natural for children to seek same-gender role models more than opposite sex role models). And so kids do idolise older relatives quite often, whether siblings, cousins, or parents, etc. But John-David said the hardest thing he ever had to say to Josh, was he didn't want to be like him in any way, anymore. John-David said he then realised he would have to step up to the plate, and be the man he had to be - so his younger siblings would have a healthy male role model (since Josh had turned out to be such a bad example). The younger Willis kids especially, need healthy male role models. Now their 'father' is imprisoned, I hope his sons can find some comfort and healing, in giving their younger siblings a healthier example of manhood than they were given themselves.

Piatequila I really wonder what ur true motive is, in telling people that they are perverts, sickos, etc., for discussing such a serious but important topic. U have zero right to label people who are expressing sympathy, contributing to wider discussions and awareness of abuse, etc., in such a way - just because u r personally uncomfortable with the topic. It's like u just don't want to face the reality, that u want to sweep it under the carpet, etc. The Willis children have spoken publicly in great detail about what happened, because they find it helpful after years of silence. They also hope that their ordeals can help others who are suffering in silence. It would be different if they had asked people to stop discussing it, because they no longer want it discussed - but that isn't the case. Awareness (and encouragement to others who are trying to find the courage to speak up) won't happen, if everyone was like u, and tried to stifle discussion/acknowledgement of the topic. Even in the Willis children's lyrics, they sing about the fear they had, that others wouldn't want to know if they spoke up. Where do u think, therefore, ur comments would help others currently in that position? Claiming nobody should mention it, and those showing sympathy are actually perverts in disguise? No. Nobody has to shut up about it - and they absolutely shouldn't stop talking about it. You can get off YT comments instead, if u can't handle it.
@denalistar52565 жыл бұрын
@Piatequila So is it better to keep it hidden in the shadows like some dirty secret that no one dare speak of? Because in my opinion as a professional social worker, this does nothing but protect the ABUSER and SHAME the victims further! Silence must be broken and the stigmas that often surround victims of sexual abuse should be completely eliminated. These kids did NOTHING wrong, and the only one being "drug through the mud over and over again" is the abuser! And he should be! Telling their story and talking about it openly may help OTHER victims who are still too afraid to speak out. People openly talking about it is a GOOD thing. It has nothing to do with being "perverted" or "sick." It has EVERYTHING to do with giving victims a much-needed voice.

So endearing. The only brothers and sisters who seem to enjoy and love each others company, in music and in life. They take care of orher, they don't need the outside world, they're complete, and not even the most horrible things which happened in their youthful lives could erase the joy and gleefulness they exude for their audience.

Mohamed i did it Mohamed. It’s not difficult. We hired private tutors for the more challenging upper level courses. My kids are all musical. They play the violin and my daughter plays violin and piano. They don’t need to be smart even though I consider myself intelligent. They should be dedicated and committed. They do have charter schools too which are better than PS.

@Piatequila surely its not true...I can't believe it
@crazyhai65545 жыл бұрын
@Jayne. Oh, it's true. He eventually pleaded guilty. Unlike Piatequila apparently thinks, I think evil absolutely should be acknowledged and named. It's nothing to do with being 'perverted', as she accused the OP These poor children tolerated extreme abuse in silence for years. They have since wanted to discuss it publicly themselves, and I think that's helpful. There will be plenty of others suffering in silence watching this and other videos. They don't need to worry that others will ask them to be silent because they don't want to hear about such a horrible topic. So I'm now going to summarise the abuse, based on what they themselves have disclosed publicly. People can stop reading here if it's too distressing - but it's not something that should be taboo to name. He sexually abused at least 4 of the girls. The eldest said the molestation started at age 3 for her - it's difficult to imagine he hasn't abused all the girls therefore. Anyway, the 4 charges he admitted (which got him 40 years), he raped 4 of his daughters at least once between the ages of 8-12. They were also beaten and controlled well into adulthood- as were the boys. Just about every type of abuse was inflicted on them - including psychological abuse. The eldest (in her mid-20s) was beaten and controlled as she tried to escape, and found a loving boyfriend. She had all her means of contacting the outside taken off her, was locked up, and regularly beaten. The mother was aware of the abuse. She apparently had some arguments with him about it, but ultimately didn't leave. She carried on having kids with him, and just 'comforting' her daughters after episodes of sexual abuse. How u can carry on sleeping with a paedophile who sexually abused your own kids, I do not know. We do know she was abused too. There should never be any taboo on naming such evil - especially when victims themselves have bravely spoken up. This evil exists all around us, sadly.

@@crazyhai6554 The mother has a lot to blame....there are no excuses for her...she should have told what he was doing a long time ago....how could she have let her children go through what they went through....I don't want to judge too much..because I don't know her side of the story..
