Appears a very good video but 54 seconds into it the sound went off... While I'm at it can you advise what size data is recommended for the Sim. 15 GB is the lowest supplied, next 25 GB which seems excessive. Any recommendations. That data amount is per month from Telstra.

Sadly I don't have access to the cars currently. Due to the background music it was copyright so it had to be cut.

Thanks for the comment, if you don't have incontrol touch Pro, you will have the data sim location in the boot area. Underneath the load area to the left you can find a place to enter the sim card. This was not on all cars so you may not have it. Best of luck.

i have a 2017 xe 35t r-sport with the 10 inch screen - all updated to the latest update - it reads 3G / can i put a newer sim card in? or is it the car itself that is stuck on 3G? ty

Hello Simon. If you have the latest update you should be able to have 4G. It might just be the sim card entered. Hope that helps. Many thanks

Hiya. No it wouldn't work I'm afraid. There are gadgets out there that allow you to do that however it would be retro fitted.

what size card is it.is it the middle size of the 3 micro sizes

Its a micro sim card. One down from the usual size you get as standard. Hope that helps.

worked out it is the middle size, i put it in the car and it says sim not supported (it is an ee data sim card)

Do you need the sim card in order for the web browser to work? i have 2017 fpace with the new update19 but my web browse say unavailable .live and wifi works fine and hot spot and i .but i have notice it says 3gs instead of 4g . have had the sim card since 2017 and recently add ATT data plan is that normal to say 3 gs or do i need a 4g sim card

Thanks for the comment. Yes you will need a working data sim for the Web browser to work. 3g and 4g will both work just fine. Be sure not to leave WiFi on as this will rinse the data very quick.

@@Reevueofficial Thank you for replying. So the live do work and my hot spot but no internet connection. and the .WIFI are connected. After calling a few dealer they cannot understand why it's not working. leaning toward replacing the sim card. I wondering if it needs to be reprogram since the service was inactive since Nov of 2017 and got reactivated 2 weeks ago with a new data plan. Can i buy a new sim card from the store or I have to go through the dealer or back to AT&T. What is the Sim pin button that located under mobile data does. Is it suppose to be on or off ?

@@SONICSTAR07 hi your welcome! Glad to hear there is progress. The sim pin enables you to lock the sim so guests can't rinse the data. Yes I would venture out and get a new sim, make sure they activate before you put this in the car though. Also keep an eye for any software updates as these always have a big impact and fixes any bugs. Good luck!!

Hi willstra. Correct, that's how that should be done. You can contact the dealer as they have the logins or type in from the car ubigi.me in your web browser. Hope that helps.

The retailer, where you bought the car from. These sim cards have now expired and no longer are offered. I would just buy your own.
