Do Range Rovers with Sim slot in the arm rest only have one (1) IMEI number or two (2) ? because the cars have two SIM Cars (1 Embedded SIM for Emergency Call + 1 SIM in the arm rest) ?

Range Rover vehicles with communication options will use two SIM cards: a built-in SIM card in the overhead console and a slot in the center console. The SIM card in the overhead console allows for emergency calls, and the SIM card in the center console allows you to connect to the Internet. You can see the IMEI for the SIM card in the center console that you need to prepare yourself. The IMEI of the SIM card of the overhead console provided by Land Rover cannot be seen

@@LandRoverGuidebook that was not the question. Does the car have 2 IMEI numbers or one ? Some ppl. say only 1 because the embedded sim is no active SIM card because it only communicates with the JLR Servers?

There is only one IMEI in the vehicle. The sim card for communication in the overhead console does not have an IMEI. Only SIM cards for the Internet in the center console have IMEI.

The SIM Card in the overhead Console can make emergency calls and dials in network so why does it not have an own IMEI Number ? (as far as i know, every SIM which connects to the mobile network needs an IMEI number). Tank you for your time
