Obviously they're not going to see this comment, but I have to say it: wings, your 50 and 0 isn't as impressive as Sandys 47 and 0 because you camp your balls off to get it whereas as sandy is run and gun. In my opinion, if a rusher and a camper both get exactly the same score the rushers is 10 times more impressive. The rusher has better reactions, aim and skill in general to play well when they around vulnerability from 360 degrees as opposed to the camper who headglitches and only has to deal with the 90 degrees they're already aiming at

@Superincrediboy but the point is that it only appears when you stay still. Like say you're moving around, it would not be visisble, however if you stop moving or hesitate too long it fades in. So it only affects you if you go too slowly around, which would have to be really slow.

I totally agree with you Woody, sometimes I'm playing domination, and get killed trying to capture B, spawn, on my way back to B see half my team camping, and its so ignoring and obnoxious.. I was thinking of some ways to combat this though and I came up with a couple of ideas.. 1: Have non k/d affecting domination/objective games, 2: Only allow killstreaks if you have captured a certain amount of flags. They are probably no way fool proof but they are just ideas :)

Woody you probably wont read this but a way to prevent camping is on the radar if someone is still for too long they flash on the radar repeatedly and the dot on the radar is brighter.

THIS is what they need to do: for KILLstreaks: have the standard preset 3, 5, 7 killstreaks or something of the sort. for POINTstreaks: have customizable streaks which are more powerful than the killstreaks. this way you HAVE to play the objective in order to get the powerful killstreaks

It would be cool if point streaks work like kill streaks. so you would choose your point streak the same way you choose your kill streaks. You get one point toward your point streak when you either get a defense, offense, or capture. point streaks would be different in the way that they would either buff your WHOLE team or debuff the enemies WHOLE team for a short period. So a possible point streak would be: your team captures points faster for 30 seconds or your team has some increased damage.

TO STOP CAMPING: Make the the points for streaks slowly drop meaning in order to actually achieve your streak you don't just need a set amount of points you need to achieve those points in a fairly prompt fashion. With this you couldn't just sit their camping for one more kill as your streak count would be fading away as you wait.

just for the record there arent perks in MW3 they instead have a class type where you choose assault, recon, and stuff like that. You dont choose individual perks in this game. Also for Wings thats not a machine gun pistol secondary, you can use a gun attachment called gun strap that is like overkill from cod 4, you can carry 2 primaries

The only way you can stop camping being effective is to increase the health which means that the game is more based on gun skill and reactions.

regardless of whether or not the point system effects camping, at least the objective players will be rewarded for their work with point streaks which will then help them win the game (even if their teammates aren't playing the objective)

The Halo franchise had a very successful run without putting to much emphasis on k/d. If I'm not mistaken, the only way to view your k/d was to go online to view your service record for halo 2 and 3. It was fun to focus on kills and not deaths. You still didn't want to contribute to the enemy teams kills though but it wasnt a big deal because it wasn't tracked on the scoreboard.

ok so here it is the more you fire your gun (supresor or no) the more your red dot stays in the same spot like this. i camp in one room in a corner then your red dot will leanger more with like a 20 foot radius.... and after a time even with a supresser your dot will start to show up.

the best way to minimize camping is to have friendly fire on all game modes not just hardcore and when your teamates start camping, and you shoot them and eventually people get tired of getting shot when they camp they stop doing it or they quit playing altogether

Sandy videos are an event because the way he plays takes an incredible amount of gun skill and it is hectic and bombastic, exactly the reason you like Wing's videos(he plays like a normal person and quite deliberately) is why people don't like them as much. I disagree with Woody and the whole Skyrim thing. If you look at the Holiday Showdown to determine the most anticipated game, it's Skyrim at 32.6 percent, being the most anticipated game in the holidays, while MW3 is at 8.5 percent. easy way to stop camping and promote trying to win. In objective based games, no kill streaks. But have point streaks where you get air support and stuff for capping flags or whatever. In TDM you can have killstreaks, but in things like domination there should be no kill streaks. If you cap a flag, you get UAV. You cap to flags, you get a heli. Might work

You want objective play? Here's an example: me and my friend go to play BO sabotage (on PC). So we enter a server, get assignet like usual on opposite teams, I make a run for the bomb, the map is Villa, I encouter nobody, make a run for the bomb site, plant the bomb, go of to get some kills, the game is over in about 1 min 45 s, almost nobody gets a kill and me and my friend are laughing our asses off. Nobody went for the bomb or the defuse. You can't make ppl play objective no matter what.

@aeadonnis the problem is then people will just camp B flag for kills and rack up killstreaks that way and avoid jumping on the flag altogether. if the max killstreak for KILLS is something like an attack helicopter but the max killstreak for POINTS is like an AC130 or something badass like that then people would be much more apt to jump on flags and earn the badass killstreaks rather than camp the flags for kills and earn the lame killstreaks.

When the police are going for someone who they believe is armed and dangerous though they can use a gun if they feel there is a threat to someones life (which I think is the case whenever anyone has a gun). Woody I think I know how to get rid of campers and a map that moves is how you do it. Example you have one huge map but only one quarter of the map is playable at a time, and for a ten minute game every 2 and a half minutes a new section of the map is opened while the old section is is closed off or demolished, and any player still in the old section will die and there will be a 45 sec. notification to leave.
