Im from missouri and when i was in kindergarten my mom rented 2 chimps for my birthday, several months later they attacked a kid so they shut that down lol this was the early 90s and i still have pics of them jumping on the trampoline with a bunch of 7 year olds lol

depends on how exotic we're talking. I'd say about 5 above average ones, though you'll get more quantity if you sacrifice in quality. the reverse is also true, 50k for 1 would bring a fine specimen.

I’d own a venemous snake before I owned a chimp or even one of those parrots that live 80+ years. It’s too much commitment. I was learning about snakes once and the guy said you can literally go on vacation, leave the snake at home and it’ll be fine. You can give it some food and water and leave that snake in its enclosure for a week with no problem, they don’t even require social interaction it’s all down to you. Ever since I heard that I’ve wanted a snake. Nothing venomous, but like a water snake that looks venomous and is aggressive but can’t really hurt you.

It's not exactly a great idea to abandon them with no supervision for a week. Depending on the size and species they can need more or less food and water. But many species can go months without food

@@johnnygreenfaceYeah I know someone who runs a very exotic pet shop and before he learned about reptiles and birds he was scared but just how unlikely a snake is to attack a human if you don’t fuck with them. They’re way more likely to back off in captivity or not mind being held. I’ve held Pit Vipers and deadly snakes of his all with their fangs and they act more docile than corn snakes.
