You know how it is. Every 5yo sees a single Azumarill in team comp, and the compulsory response is to have four Azus. Even if the boss always one shots after belly drum. Garchomp is another one that gets spammed… for absolutely no reason. It’s not even slightly good for online raids relative to the main physical attackers. It has support options, but you’ll never see it.

As someone who is terrible at the meta for Pokémon, I have been using your builds with piloting directions since the first round of Iron Leaves/Walking wake, and I've gone from desperately trying to solo so that my terrible playing doesn't ruin other people's experiences, to feeling confident enough to actually play with other people. Great builds! I was super happy to bring my retrained Appletun from 7⭐Pikachu. I also built Lurantis, since it did well in a previous raid, and Amoonguss, since I expected Body Press. As much fun as people were having with Gogoat, I think I'll train one for the second round. 🐐

Thank you for this I don't know why so few people want to be support players I went in on inteleon raids with blissy only used 3 moves sunny day, light screen and life dew I can't tell you how many raids I was in but I started with 0 zincs and after the raids I have 855 of them compared to when I wasn't playing support for the other raids I only have around 300 the other vitamins from past raids

Meowscarada also plays the same way as Decidueye does, but with Protean and Charm. And you can teach Decidueye or Meowscarada Frenzy Plant when Teralized to Grass for Huge damage.

I've had good success with a Modest, 252 Sp. Att., 252 Def. Liligant with the ability Own Tempo and carrying Miracle Seed. With access to Charm, I've managed to get Chesnaught down to -6 attack before the raid shield quite often, but I haven't been disappointed with -4 - it all depends on how well the Pokemon around you get through the early going, but with such a severe lowering of Chesnaught's attack only things like Slowbro will be knocked out regularly. Even if Liligant has been critical hit by Stone Edge or Hammer Arm it's been able to survive to use Giga Drain with the defence investment. I've been able to alternate between Petal Dance and Giga Drain, to break Chesnaught down, both solo and in battles with randoms. I have had Growth as my fourth move, but I think Grassy Terrain might be better to speed battles along.

Super interested in the Grass Pelt Gogoat, that looks fun as hell. I'll see what my friend likes to play though, he's got a soft spot for Amoonguss so I might need to build a Lurantis or Decidueye for the damage carry. If I could make one suggestion. Adding something like a duo suggestion would be fun. For example, if I pair Lurantis with Amoonguss I'll drop Worry seed and add Giga Drain to the Lurantis. You sort of touch on it. But I'd be interested in your thoughts on the premier duo pair, as I expect I'm not the only person who raids them like that.

I'm going to try out Appletun (what's the advantage between your EV spread and let's say, 252 SpA/Def) But I have Recover (with Shell Bell) over Recycle And iron defense over reflect (because getting TM materials is a hassle) 😅

Leftovers is a waste of time in a raid, it eats the raid timer for barely any value. Not doing Reflect for your team is also a bad play, it’s such a vital move.

Maybe I'll try out recycle ♻️ I guess it works out similar to Recover, since if you need to recover, you'll need to recycle the berry next turn anyways or else u can't heal again. Hopefully it doesn't spam Stone Edge 35.6 - 41.9% or Body Press 29.2 - 34.6% But I like reflect + def cheer (NPC) + iron defense, chesnaught won't be doing any meaningful damage

I thought Spiky Shield does damage if the pokemon uses a contact move on it. Also it isn't a signature move since pokemon like Glimmora learn it

I don't think Woodhammer will be the physical grass attack. They haven't picked recoil damage attacks, so I'm thinking seed bomb. Close combat is a good fighting attack. I do see earthquake being an attack. I see zen headbutt be a 4th attacks to ward off fighting types.

No such thing as a “normal” energy ball, but what’s the context? The move is inherently a special attack as opposed to a physical attack though.

So in that damage cal you can change a move from special to physical just for example purposes. Amoongus was a good base example because both it’s attack and special attack are 100, so have a base 90 move to test would be “fair”
