About the east-west thing, I’m guessing that Steve was trying to describe the JR West and JR East regional train systems. Also, the pikachu train tickets are one-way trips, so most of the passengers likely just took regular trains back to the starting point, while a few new customers got on and took the one-way ‘reverse’ trip with Steve back.

I live in the town where the last stop for the Pikachu train is (coming from Ichinoseki), Kesennuma. I've lived here for almost five years and have never once taken the Pikachu train. 😂 Not sure what the restaurant mentioned is around 1:09:30, but there's a solid chance I've heard of it or been to it myself haha But yea public transit is not very... available here lol The Pikachu train was made in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, I believe. That's also the reason there isn't much public transit here anymore, even now. A lot of the old train lines that used to be here have been replaced by bus lines.

Thanks to you guys, I bought useful stuff from the event store this legendary round. Last time I mostly bought only Raikou incense and biscuits (and then wasted all the converted great balls on mediocre pokemon immediately). Pikachu train sounds... interesting. And like Hannah, I'm all good w hearing about it 😅

Only went for 3 Enteis this time, second one was already solid enough to make me release the initial one LOL I did use a master ball on the first one on day 1, just to get that out of the way, then got a lucky nom on the second Entei, so it only took 3 Biscuits.
