@Thomaster9999 Muzzle Flash is the bright spark effect you can see at the end of the barrel when you fire the gun. The flash can make it difficult to see what you're aiming at when you begin shooting, but when you equip a suppressor there is no flash.

@cheapmovies9P Actually this particular thermal is designed specifically to locate temperatures around human body heat. It would naturally make things difficult to differentiate on a battlefield where fire is common if the thermal vision lit up hot things indiscriminatly.

@JCunbreakable I didn't like Rapid Fire on the PKP when I tired it. Perhaps I didn't give it enough of a chance. I like the default RoF on the PKP. It's neither too fast nor too slow. It's just right.

@Thomaster9999 "Suppressor" is another name for a gun's "silencer". Catches that muzzle blast: hides to flash and makes it much quieter (though rarely actually silent).

Are you spamming the trigger with those bad boys, or are you shooting that like a pistol, which is with more of a "shoot-stop-shoot-stop" so that the sites kind of go back to normal for a few seconds. Great video btw, you've inspired me to give every single gun a go until she's completely leveled!

i like the way battlefield describes the suppressor. something about the weight and lower bullet velocity makes it more accurate. seems to be the same in cod. however since there is no bullet drop in cod. i think the suppressor turns a LMGs range into just an assault rifles range which is more than enough :D

If its the spiritual successor to the MW2 RPD, then I'm going to fall head over heels for the PKP. The RPD was the best gun in MW2 IMO, and I've missed it dearly after the disgrace the RPK was in BO.

its called strafe jumping, press c and then control so u go crouch and prone while in the air, its pretty handy it makes u jump a little further

also, the thermal scope takes away all gun kick. so thats why you feel like there's less recoil. because there IS less recoil.

Another LMG tip is if you go prone it almost eliminates recoil.

It's interesting that you mention the three hit kill with a silencer, it's possible now because the developers changed LMGs from being consistent at all ranges to being powerful up close and weaker at range (though not by much). If this was MW2 or Black Ops your PKP would probably be a 4 hit kill at all ranges, but not anymore... and way to make good use of it.

I think it's the best LMG in MW3. It feels like the RPD. The difference between the RPD and the PKP is that the RPD fires a 7.62x39mm round and the PKP fires the 7.62x54mmR

Got the PKP in gold, for me Grip and Rapid fire is by far the best attachments for this gun, add Stalker with specialist KS and you're set.

how's the m60 in this game? all try iv'e had from it is via the two times ive been lucky enough to find a carepackage with a juggernaught killstreak, and thats not the best place to find out if you like a gun or not

By the way, I don't think it's even the visual recoil, because it's not that different even with a red dot sight or whatever. It's just that without the sight, the whole bottom half of the screen is taken up, while with it, the focus point is slightly higher up on the weapon, so the bulky bit is further down, if that makes sense.

ahah the gun jumping up and down is called gun kick. the kick proficiency helps the gun kick and the actual screen moving up and down is called viewkick which is reduced by the grip attachment. watch xbox ahoy's video on it
