Range is better on the higher damaging shotguns, because they don't need a damage buff in close range, and range helps to get consistent one shot kills much more than damage when at a distance. On striker and AA12, however, damage is better because they actually need to kill in less shots more than anything.

hey boo. U have enspired me to try out the mw3 shotguns I have played a lot with the striker recently getting it to gold. I do love range and extended mags. I agree with the throwing knife =) I suggest you try the motion sensor as tactical it has helped me a lot with shotguns. love the videos keep it up!

your on point with the feel and what you like and what is the best (the striker)... my favorite in mw 2 and mw 1 was the M1014, I loved that shotgun... I think it is pretty stupid that they imported the EXCACT sound from the M1014 into the USAS 12?... they are different shotguns and I think they shold not sound alike?... Agree?

@Zentennen In my opinion long range doesn't really matter because you'll probably die anyway. What I found though was with damage you'll almost never get more than three hitmarkers when your enemy is in range (Close quarters and medium range) and if you're not perfectly on target close range you'll still get them in two or even one shot(s). There's not really a difference between if all pellets hit or if some pellets hit but do more damage. Damage just helps you out close range.

@fpsisfun u get hit markers becasue u dont use them adn hav not unlicked extended magz or the damage prophiciency and you probably dont use specialist either, once u lvl up a shot gun to lvl 28 (which is a grind) its a beast extended magz allows the spas to shoot 12 pellets instead of 8 and damage makes it so that each pellet does more damage
