Ms Bacci very nicely captured the cheerful mood of the audience, the standing ovation for him when he first took the stage -- as is his due -- and then the full arena at the end of the performance, another standing ovation. Merci pour cette émouvante video. Placido est et restera le grand tenor de son temps, n'en déplaise à ceux qui le jalousent et veulent lui nuire. Maintenant baryton, sa voix est toujours aussi splendide. Son public ne s'y trompe pas.
