Merv Griffin’s focus is like a laser. His eye never leaves Domingo while talking and listening. Incredible concentration and charisma. During the early days of KZbin, someone posted (in several clips) not just his full interview with Domingo, but also the one with Giuseppe Di Stefano and Carol Burnett. I wish someone would repost it. It was a wonderful interview. Burnett does the Tarzan Yell, and Di Stefano said that her voice “carries.” I would love go see it again.

Oh man, no one can put this over like Mr. S. NOONE . Thy're may have been better voices but Frank was the best singer. You can almost feel his pain here ( did somebody say Ava Gardner)
