When using the blind basket and paddle fully open the pump pressure rises from 10 bar to 12 bar. Is there a problem with the pump bypass?

What is the reason you don’t want the OPV to be working when the blind basket is in? Where does the excess water/pressure go in this situation?

If you have to change the pressure during the extraction you have to change the pump pressure, not the opv pressure

@@yosefmizrachi 1 set the pump at 12 bar 2 close the paddle 3 start the erogation 4 close the opv until there is no leaks at 12 bar 5 set again the pump at the value you want

@@lelitinsider2977 Changing the pump pressure doesn't really do anything for the extraction pressure especially at finer grind settings, if there is adequate resistance from the puck it will go over the pump pressure and up to what the OPV is set too, kind of pointless and stupid really, why the OPV is set so high is weird, no one wants to extract above 9bar. Even if i do preinfusion with a finer grind the pressure far exceeds 9 bar even with use of flow control, again, pretty stupid for a machine of this price

So, if I drop the Pump pressure to 6 bar, is ist necessary to adjust the POV or is ist fine in stock setup, as the opv works as a safety?

The Pump is so quiet of your mashine. Mine is much louder…
