Ship explosion diorama '1944'

1/700 scale ship diorama.
I recently watched a midway movie and wanted to make this kind of diorama
In 1944, in the Battle of Leyteman
The Japanese ship Yamashiro was sunk by a US torpedo attack,
This scene is imagined.
Since I am not an English native speaker, the English subtitles may be a little wrong. I hope you understand these things.

Great skills, wonderful concept. Look at some photos of battle damaged ships when they put to port for repairs. I do armor and it helped me to get a more realistic. Look. But I do not have your air brush skills at all. You are very good.

Thank you first. Six of the Japanese warships were bombarded and sunk in this battle. This ship is one of them. Of course, I don't think this smoke is necessary :). This smoke is assumed to have a burning battleship nearby. This is my imagination, and I used it as a decoration for the war atmosphere.

The engines could be stopped after the earlier hit. She's a big ship and could have been doing over 25 knots when the she quit, so she's going to be drifting hard and fast for quite a while!

감사합니다. 저는 프라모델 구입하는데가 특별한것은 없고 대부분 온라인매장 보다가 구매하는편이고 가끔 오프라인에서도 삽니다. 네이버하비가 물건이 많아서 거기서 살펴보고 살때가 있고 다른곳이 가격이 훨씬 좋다면 거기서 사는편입니다. 오프라인은 동선에 남부터미널 국제전자상가 동보하비파크에서도 가끔 삽니다.별특별한것이 없지요^^

Awesome diorama, but one question. Wouldn't it be more realistic to add the oil leakage and possible small explosions where the ship was impacted? Do any of yall ship builders add that to your diorama?

I think you might have built yamashiro in her 1942 configuration? she had extra anti-aircraft guns added in 1944 right?

감사합니다. 1.목공풀은 다이소에서 파는 흔한 2천원 으로 기억되는 목공풀입니다. 2.아크릴 도료는 국산 알파 실버라인 아크릴 물감입니다. 3. 저는 수성에폭시를 시험적으로 써보았는데 이는 추천드리지는 않습니다. 일반적인 아크릴 바니쉬로 하셔도 충분히 바다질감을 낼수 있습니다. 에폭시는 잠수함처럼 속이 보이게 만들때 사용하는것이 좋고 일반적으로 수면위만 보이게 할때는 물결을 만든위에 바다색감으로 칠하고 건조후에 유광바니쉬나 미술용 겔미디움 을 사용하시면 됩니다.

와~ 진짜 프라아트님 대박이네요!!! 기본기가 탄탄하니 뭘 하든 잘 하시네요. 부럽습니다 금손 ㅠㅠ 어제 처음으로 아크릴 에어브러쉬를 했는데요. 분사가 잘 안되요. 막히는 느낌이 드는데 물감은 쉴드꺼구요. 프라님 영상보고 만든 신너(물+글리세린)을 사용했거든요. 압을 좀 쌔게해서 분사량을 늘리면 그래도 그럭저럭 나가는데 명암도색을 하려고 패널라인 같은곳에 미세하고 약하게 뿌리면 조금 나오다 말다 그러다가 분사가 안되네요. 아크릴 물감의 문제일까요??? 그래서 바예호 모델칼라 도료랑 신너, 플로우 임프루버 샀거든요. 이걸로하면 잘 될까요? ㅠㅠ 그리고 사용하시는 에어브러쉬 어디껀가요? 락카용과 아크릴물감용 따로 사용하고 싶어서 하나 더 구매하려구요.

안녕하세요 봉봉님. 제 기준으로는 바예호 제품들 잘 사셧는데. 오히려 신너는 그렇게 필요가 없습니다. 임프루버가 필수적이라 생각되고, 프라이머는 반드시 있어야 합니다. 창문유리/종이 가 있다고 하면 종이는 쉽게 칠할수 있지만창 창문 유리에 도색하기 정말 어렵지요. 줄줄 흘러 내리곘죠.프라모델 이 창문유리같이 아크릴로 칠하기 어렵습니다. 프라이머가 종이로 표면을 바꿔준다고 생각하셔야 합니다. 이 영상에서 아크릴 뿌리는 장면나오듯이 임프루버 위에 도료넣고 물 한 두방울 정도 추가하시면 딱 사용하기 좋게 됩니다.. 미술물감 아크릴은 조소냐류 정도 아니면 입자가 좀 커서 별도의 컵에서 잘저어주고 에어브러쉬로 부어주어야 합니다. 저는 알파물감은 모형보다 디오라마 칠할때 배경요소에 주로 사용하고 있습니다. 프라스틱외에는 양도 많고 잘칠해 집니다.(프라스틱에도 안칠해 지는것은 아닙니다.) 압력은 2바~2.5바 정도 쓰셔야 합니다. 저는 2.3바 씁니다. 압력이 락카처럼 낮게 쓰기가 어렵습니다.말씀하셨듯이 에어브러쉬는 락카랑 아크릴 따로 쓰는것은 좋습니다. 제가 쓰는것 중에 영상에 자주나오는 측면컵 형태가 컵에 붓고 섞기 좋아서 쓴느것이 있는데 이건 노브랜드 중국산입니다.. 측면컵 스파맥스나 이와타 같은것 있으니 좀더 좋은 퀄리티는 그걸 쓰셔도 됩니다. 저도 아크릴 전용으로 쓰려고 AMMO 에어코브라 라는 아크릴 에 특화된 에어브러쉬를 주문해둔 상태인데 구매전이라면 이것도 한번 보시것도 좋겠습니다. 댓글 앞부분 읽어보면 아크릴 에어브러쉬 처음 적응할떄 일어나는 아주 전형적인 현상입니다. 극복되시는 문제구요. 제 답글이 좀 장황한데,, 아무래도 영상을 하나 만들어야 겠습니다.. 일단 여기까집니다~

@@pla_art 프라이머가 서페이서 말씀하시는거죠? 그건 전에 붓도색할때 바예호가 사놓은거 있어서 그거 사용했습니다. 신너가 쓰임새가 적다니 몰랐네요. 임프루버를 하나 더 살걸 그랬네욯ㅎㅎ. 그리고 콤프레샤는 프라님꺼랑 같은거 샀는데 2.3바까지 올라가나요? 셋팅이 2바 정도되고 분사하면 1바정도로 떨어진던데요? 음.... 아 그리고 영상에서 잘 저어 주어야 한다고 하셔서 조색접시에 따로 덜어서 엄청 저어줬어요 ㅎㅎ. 침튀김현상도 락카보다 많이 생기고 적응좀 되야 하거 같네요. 여러 애로사항이 있지만 냄새가 안난다는게 너무 좋네요!!!

@@김상윤-r9d 분사시는 압력이 떨어지는게 맞고 차있을때 기준 이구요.2바 셋팅은 아크릴아니면 그대로 쓰는게 맞는데 아크릴 작업하다 보니 압력이 더 필요하다고 판단이 되었습니다.압력게 뒤쪽의 밸드나 위쪽 밸브로 맞추시면 2.3 바까지는 문제없이 올릴수 있습니다.
