Thankyou! I’ve cleared my PLAB one and would be going for my PLAB two in September. Please do share some tips of how we may make the most of our clinical attachments. Also, is it true that if I do my attachment in psychiatry my options for getting a job in the UK reduces as preferences are given to medicine itself? I’ve this confusion. please find the time to clear it.. Thankyou so much once again

@@RoadToUKIs there a possibility that MRCP cancel its 6+1 attempts on each steps? Thanks.😊

Hi, I have been following your channel for a long time and love your content. Could you cover this topic in one of your future videos? Most IMGs may be taking this transition slow as it is hard to juggle things. How can one improve their CV, build ones confidence and clinical skills (accredited courses in the UK such as phlebotomy, first aid, IV, Botox, etc ) whilst still studying and moving forward on their journey to the UK?

But the website said the prep should be the same, why should we be worried

GMC has stated both in their site and in their email that the foundation of the exam will shift from PLAB blueprint to MLA content map and they also suggest modifying prep to ensure this.

Hi ! I'm studying in Tajikistan but I'm from Pakistan. Here in Tajikistan it's MD (General Medicine = 6 years) but they also give MBBS 5 years degree to Pakistani and Indian students. If i have to take UKMLA exam, will it matter if i study 5 years MBBS instead of 6 years MD? Because the Degree for local students is 6 years MD. Will GMC and other countries medical councils accept my 5 years MBBS degree. Please reply because i'm very confused !

Is there any info about the cost of UKMLA !? Will it be similar to the current fees of PLAB !?

No information as yet. We will keep you updated if there is any change in cost, but for now it is safe to assume the same as PLAB.

The relevant European Qualification pathway is still accepted - for at least 5 years from now. No UKMLA for EEA/EU IMGs so far. Specialty trainings finished in EU are accepted as well. @@RoadToUK Thank you for all your help. I'm currently in my second year of Medschool, and I was like really panicking due to these changes but seeing you guys already working on these q-banks is reducing any anxiety I initially had (I will totally use them along with the revision book once that is published). Thank you for giving us this chance to prove that us IMGS, even though we might not have most of the benefits the local med students have (the variety of materials, sources and preparation), we are able to succeed regardless. I'm a new subscriber but i'm glad I stumbled across your channel this early. There is still hope! :D
