Twenty years later, I passed this song along to my daughter as I observed her searching for God's will. It is a timeless piece and I am grateful for artists such as Michael W. Michael......you once corrected me in a concert when my friend and I shouted we love you Michael. You said it's not about me it's about God. I never forgot. And this was one of my favourite always helped me pull back my focus to our Father. Thank you for standing strong. I really like these 2 comments here. My memory from a concert is he prayed a blessing over everyone at end of music. My absolute favorite part as I was going through a real dark time in my life. All praise and glory to God the Father of all. He wrote a book called "A simple blessing" years later. Mom owns a copy.

This song would randomly play in my head as a child in the 90s, i never knew the Lord was using your voice to call me to Himself, that i may have the light i needed to find my place in this world. I'm excited to share with you that i have found my place in this world. Thank you Micheal for finding your place, so many years have passed and you're still a blessing. So many memories with this song. ❤❤❤ We must let the all men know and see that we are like the moon that will only remain dark and gloomy without the light of the sun. The sun makes all that the moon bears visible, it gives the moon credence and meaning. The Lord Jesus Christ is that Sun, and when you get married as a woman, your husband is a representation of the sun in your life, you will submit to him as unto the Lord(the Spiritual Sun) to perfom your role as wife even as Sripture instructs. Once a man understands his role as the sun, he'll allow his wife reflect his light and they'll both be happy. What we as humans are to the Lord is what a woman is to her husband. Notice, i didn't say that it is what a woman is to a man but a wife to her own husband. In life as humans, whether male or female, we are yhesame to the LORD, but in the context of marriage, a woman is to submit to her own husband. See Eph 5:22-33 Once we understand this as christians, every home will be a safe haven and an influence to the world at large. I'm glad you read up to this point❤. I will say that when you Hear this song as a teenager vs. as an Adult, it all clicks and makes So much sense now. When we found Jesus we were Home, and this is your place, serving and worshipping the Almighty God! Sorry, this version doesnt do it for me. Nothing can touch the original version of this song. No matter how old this song gets, it will be timeless. MWS wrote a great song when he released this one and it will continue to be one of my favs. The upbeat tempo loses the emotion in the ballad. I know, make it modern for the younger kids. Over produce it, add tons of autotune and you have another #1 hit. Meh, this old school musician says, bring back talent and stop trying to hide the imperfections with studio tricks.

@amysmallwood3561 why not??? it sounds alright to me it's the same message that Michael had all along only difference is For King and Country singing it and maybe the style more modernized but otherwise it's still the same song. Michael is trying to make a influence on the younger generation so letting For King and Country sing this is kind of like Michael passing the baton to the younger generation.
