First guy you see at 00:16 is my dad in this music video. You can see him throughout the video. He got into background acting work in his 60s after a long recovery from pneumonia that caused him to retire early from his career as a secondary school teacher which he loved. When he was too ill to work, he said he felt that he had let his students down. I just want to say that I am extremely proud of him. He has worked on many productions from around 2009 to 2016 or so from feature roles like this in Wrath of the Titans to Star Wars Rouge One to Da Vinci's Demons and many more. Posting this because of how proud I am of him, and for anyone who loves this band who is interested.

"A Million Little Pieces" There wasn't much I used to need A smile would blow a summer breeze through my heart Now my mistakes are haunting me, Like Winter came and put a freeze on my heart I've lost the power to understand what it takes to be a man with my heart I saw you wanted this to end, You tried your best to be a friend to my heart But I'm leaving this worry town Please no grieving, my love, understand? Whenever I was feeling wrong I used to go and write a song from my heart But now I feel I've lost my spark No more glowing in the dark for my heart So I'm leaving this worry town, Please no grieving, my love, understand? Understand? [x4] Understand? (Can't you see I'm sick of fighting?) Understand? (Can't you tell I've lost my way?) Understand? (Look at me, there's no denying) Understand? (I won't last another day) So I'm leaving this worry town Please no grieving, my love, understand? That I'm leaving this worry town Please no grieving, my love, understand? This video is incredible. I saw the alternate version first, then this one, and I love them both. The idea/feeling I get from this one is maybe of good people who have either observed all the horrors of the world, or been weathered by horrible experiences, to the point where they start to question what everything means, why we as humans do the things we do that go along with society, why we place so much value on certain things and not enough value on other things, and then often come to regret it later, etc. "What's the point of falling in line with such a contradictory, unfair, nonsensical society that says one thing and does another?" maybe that sort of thing. And sometimes that notion can lead us to do unconforming things that we just don't care anymore about being judged for. Or in other cases, it can make us lose touch with reality. And I think maybe the exploration of nature draws the people in the video because nature is not governed by human society, it's timeless and non-judgemental. And I love that there are older people in the video in spite of what some people have said, I imagine there are a lot of older people who have been through a lot and can relate to this song deep inside. At 2:52 when the man sings along "understand..." that gives me chills, it's intense. It's like he's been disconnected for so long, but then he finds this song that resonates with what he's feeling, and it reconnects him with something inside himself that's really important to him.

I've loved Placebo from their very first album and I saw them live once in Philly. I still don't have all their albums but on my way. I have the Without You I'm Nothing, Black Market Music, the MTV unplugged and Loud Like Love. I don't think there's a bad Placebo song.
@mcbelme9210 жыл бұрын
@spanishkat419410 жыл бұрын
@mcbelme9210 жыл бұрын
@spanishkat419410 жыл бұрын

Eh... Yeah now im lisening to this song and im in similiar situation kinda. I knew somebody for 5 years. Supported that person, later was in relationship just to get replaced by somebody else 6 months ago... For six months i was fighting to at least have him as a friend but... With my relationship and friendship went whole group that i used to hang out and oddly enough was gone because im not fun as i used to be. All the bad stuff from the past went out like to prove it was all my fault. Even argues we solved years ago somehow started to be again on the topic... Im very tired of trying and fix stuff when somebody didnt treat me like human and calls me toxic. Meanwhile they are having fun while im stuck in bed staring at wall most of the time... Its funny that when you meet somebody and thinks that this person will be your friend forever and then all the stuff going wrong and doesnt matter how you want to mend it you just cant... Sorry i saw you comment and it was too hard to not respond :/ About panic attack... I have epilepse and whole thing caused few seizures attacks so i can corelate.. I hope you will pick yourself up friend

I listen Placebo since I was 5 years old, im 21 rn, and they never let me down... Especially this song is relatable to me... Last year due to corona virus their gig at @ArsenalfestKragujevac was canceled

this is my favorite band and I can't understand why does this song have only 2 million views, what's wrong with you, people. By the way, I'm not a sad boy, just like this kind of music.
