I can't stop listening to this song. Hearing a song like this feels like revisiting an old friend of mine, as Placebo's music has been in my life since I was 12 year old boy, back in 2006. Their music has been both in the darkest and highest points of my life, and this song brings me an unexplainable joy, but it also brings me back to those naive times of me taking the bus to high school in those cold mornings without wanting to go there, having uncertainty and feeling like I was never going to escape the hole that high school was for me. It feels great to hear this song as an adult now, with a lump in my throat, being in a much better place than I was at that time. I just want to thank Placebo for being such an inspiration in my life.

James can be a lover, a struggling friend, your son, or even yourself. The most beautiful thing about this song is that I don't care who James is. I care about the love shown towards him. "I don't want to wake you. Though I might have to..." It feels like looking at your son, or yourself when you were young... James is a gorgeous little soul who deserves rest from this crazy world, but sometimes we have to wake up and face reality to move on. To keep growing... Thank you Placebo. Like many in here, you have been around my life since I was a teenager and I cannot thank you enough for how much your music has helped me. For how much has helped us!

There is a special place for Placebo. I am a nurse and I think their music is as powerful and therapeutic as any counselling session or medication for many people. That is some achievement! Now THAT is how you make a comeback! A truly beathtaking song & so much better than previous single, "Jesus Son". A lot seem to feel that this song sounds like a continuation of the "Loud Like Love" era, but I myself started feeling a "Sleeping With Ghosts" vibe. Instant L❤VE

Ho i brividi dappertutto.

Listen up young people .. the best band in the lates 90s and 2000s to the present is this band. A totally surreal band who gets it right with their music , their ability to deliver over decades … if you are not listening you don’t know music … James is beautiful … but placebo is beautiful on both the inside and out …. Just like James . Wake up listen…..

To be honest, I suddenly started to cry with no reasons while I was listening to this song for the first time. It is important to say that, this song reminds me that I still have a hearth, as I haven't cried for 4 or 5 years. It is a kind of dramatic comment, but still thanks to placebo, thanks to those who listen and share same feelings with me, especially thanks to the Beautiful James.
@mrowchan23693 жыл бұрын
I started to cry too... because this song caused that I started to rememeber a person that I really loved and still love... But I couldn't never be this strong enough to tell him my true feelings. So stoped to talk, write with him... because I did not want my heart to keep remembering him. I did not know or he'd feel to me the same thing or after this even still like me as a friend... after I'd open my feelings to him. So to avoid these two possible situations I just "closed the doors". Now I am crying to these closed doors. He's in my head, heart... we're miles away. He's from Poland and I am from Japan... I think I'll write him now. No matter what will be his answer. I want be better sure than being sad that I never did it.
