I think this version is much more mysterious and eerie. The rolling drums are very sexy, the vocals are more subtle and it doesn't have the cheesy harmonics on the guitars. Really glad I found it again!

It feels soooo good to listen to this original version. Haven't heard that for awhile, mostly because it can't be found on any music streaming platforms out there, and I grew too lazy to listen to music from CDs. Listening those rerecorded versions feel sooo off. Those are good for sure, but this one have something called the power of nostalgia.

You only have to rip a CD once and you have it on your computer. I know keeping music on your computer is now as old fashioned and obsolete as playing CDs but until streaming services stop being shite my digital music collection is here to stay.

Ah, finally - the original version! Haven't heard this since my copy of the album was nicked years ago. Weird how they felt it necessary to re-record twice, once for the single, once more for subsequent copies of the album. This is by far the best version!

That version was on the first edition of the first album...I borrowed it to a friend and taped it. When I bought the CD later, it had the single version on it (starting with these "noisy muted guitar strums")...

I just read that they re-recorded the song for later pressings of the album and iTunes has the updated version with the newer version of the song. I just purchased the album on iTunes and was so confused when it got this song and didn't sound the same as I remember. Weird stuff. Will always be a great song no matter what but this version will always be my favorite because it's the first one I heard
