This place is my wife's hometown and we grew up going to the North End/Boardwalk in the 80's and 90's. It was the wild west back then!!

Love your videos, very informative. I have been coming to Carolina Beach for 60 years. My aunt used to have a house off of Hamlet Ave. back in the day. When I saw your video about Kate's Pancake House and what it used to be, I had to look it up. Here is what I found. The building that is now Kate's Pancake House has been around since the 1950s and was originally a drive thru Tastee Freeze.Oct 27, 2021.

My father < myself and brother opened up 'Stoked On The Water" Located on the left right passed the last Big fishing boat slip. Its right off canal Drive, Since you were checking out restaurants & stuff I figured Id just recommend it. Let them know jeff and sean sent you.... highly recommend you check it out! it sounds like you'd fit in just nicely....

I went there for fish and chips but they didn’t have them… so I haven’t ate there yet … we went off the island for fish and chips and found Celtic monkey the best I’ve had in a long time…

Love the burger at sea witch and the drinks were great and after watching the Netflix series Florida man I believe was filmed at the location I have a feeling the the bar scene could be at that location but in one episode you can see the sea witch motel and even though they blurred out the words you can clearly read sea witch motel… and at noelies I love the steak quesadillas
