Placing Designs on Irregular Shaped Sublimation Blanks

Hi Marilyn so cute! I have an iPhone too and do something similar but I 1. Place my object on dark card stock 2. Take picture with the camera then email to myself. 3. I follow the same trace steps you did. I make one traced image the same size as the substrate. 4. I make a copy of the original traced image then make it a little bigger. That will be the template used to sublimate the substrate. To add color to that larger image, I click on it, then use the same option (Open Fill Panel) you did to change the font color of the word Trojans. 5. If I need to make sure specific words or images in a particular spot, I use the original traced image for that. I design in that image, select everything then place it on top of the larger template centering and aligning as I desire. You can remove the original copy of the traced image but it's not necessary since the stroke or outline is set at "0" so it won't print. Hope this makes sense. Tracey

You could, but you would need to use two colors of infusible ink sheets and layer them or let the white show through to be your words/numbers.
