Hi Jennifer, Thank you for doing this very detailed video. I purchased a sublimation oven over 4 months ago and haven't used it as of today because I was afraid of what may be the best tool to use as it is related to this wonderful video tutorial. You gave me the confident to jump into it and I will be purchasing the star shape grip, bands and cup cradle since I believe that this will be my best options. Wonderful video! Just getting started with sublimation tumblers and we are having issues with ghosting on the edges! Very frustrating and have tried a bunch of different taping techniques. To tape the top and bottom edges or not? So many different videos on this its making my head hurt! Do you have a video on this? We also have a press not an oven. Thank you so much!

To find the option to mirror the design in your printer settings, follow these steps: Go to the File Menu: Choose "Print." Select Your Printer: Under the destination, select your sublimation printer. More Settings: Click the arrow beside "More settings" and choose "Print using system dialog." Check Printer Selection: Ensure your sublimation printer is selected under the printer. Layout Settings: Under the layout section, click "Flip horizontally" to mirror your image.

Great video. Unfortunately the star pinchers are unavailable on Amazon. I have also noted some people don’t use butcher paper and just place in cup with the sublimation paper only. Is that a practice you would recommend?

It's generally not recommended to skip using butcher paper or another protective layer when sublimating tumblers. Using butcher paper helps to protect your heat source and the surface of your project from any excess ink that might bleed out during the sublimation process. This is especially important because sublimation ink can reactivate and transfer to other surfaces if it gets too hot, potentially ruining your next project or leaving unwanted marks. Additionally, butcher paper allows moisture to escape while still protecting the surfaces from direct heat, which is crucial for avoiding blurry designs caused by trapped moisture. So, while some people might skip this step, it's safer and more reliable to use butcher paper to ensure the best results and protect your equipment.

Thank you for such a detailed video... however, after literally watching a ton of videos on how to wrap a tumbler with no seams, no one ever shows the back of the tumbler so that we can actually see the back seam. Your designs are very cute, but it was that back that I wanted to see, and you never showed it. Hopefully you will show the back seam on future videos up close so that we can see the back seam from top to bottom. Thank you for an excellent presentation of the different products you used in this video.
