Fun fact! Like 90% of fossil fuels com from an older period, way before dinosaurs existance. That period is called the carboniferous and had a very big amount of vegetation, and thats what became most of fossil fuels

Another fun fact to add to that: One of the most prevalent plants back then were spore-bearing trees called Lepidodendrales (scale trees) whose closest relatives alive today are (probably) quillworts (if you've never seen/heard of quillworts, they're lycophytes that kinda look like chives). They could get up to 50m in height and 2m in diameter at the base, and were characterized by their trunk being covered in scale-like structures (which come from the leaves that grew there during its growth falling off, leaving behind their base that then form these "scales")

Oil actually comes mostly from _plants_ of that era. While the odd dinosaur will have ended in the layers of biomater that turned into oil, it will be a negligible amount.

I also have a prototype for a disease simulator that I want to turn into a spiritual successor to Plague Inc, but I want to finish the first one first.

Fossil fuels are not from literal dinosaurs , just from a time leafs / trees didn’t decompose. It became oil due to pressure (I think)
