Also if I had to take a guess most of the big changes came from translating into languages with a different alphabet (Ex: Mandarin or Japanese) as those languages often have more unique and non literal ways to say English phrases, especially diseases and symptoms.

Some of these translations are in a very distant ballpark, but others like Canada becoming Syria or Necrosis becoming Build A House are just crazy. My best guess is that at some point the text was translated into Chinese/Japanese from a language that was particularly buggy, meaning it was partially phonetically transcribed instead. Then on the next run that messy jumble of characters was literally translated to hilarious consequences.

There is a specific youtube channel that might be the origin of this like google translate telephone thing. My brother watches him, not me so I'm not positive he started it but he threw cooking recipes into google translate and let the chaos ensue and I've never really seen anyone else do it. His channel is imbrandonfarris. I think that's what this scenario was inspired by.

I think the ridiculous country names might be due to translation via Chinese. Chinese uses Chinese characters phonetically for foreign names. If you incorrectly take the literal meaning of those characters, you get garbled stuff. My suspicion is that 'Bronchus' might be related to trees in some language, due to their shape. It might explain "I am a tree". As for the Cars, I'd expect it to be related to motor failure (ataxia or such), but I don't know why Total System Failure would end up being car-less.
