​@@kayoh9364let's see our bones are made of calcium. we use potassium to regulate our nervous systems and specifically in the muscles salt for that too, which is sodium chloride iron in our blood it's terrifying how close that is to what some microbes actually do eat

@@kayoh9364 The majority of asteroids are iron based and our blood is iron based. As for the bones I'm not sure. I do believe they are calcium based. Calcium is also a metal. I'm guessing it wouldn't make much of a difference.

When you think about it. It might be possibly true that the terraria corruption feeds on minerals, after all it spreads across all kinds of blocks except maybe wood. Maybe sunflowers release something that is toxic to the corruption too and it does infect various mobs and creatures, at the very least worms and the red corruption infects humanoid beings and spiders. It's now my headcanon that Terraria's corruption is exactly what is in this video.
