I mean, all of these diseases are scary. But this one is pretty damn disturbing. Don't just imagine seeing the people affected by the Pithovirus. Imagine yourself with bad gums, teeth falling out as a result. You drool commonly, and it hurts to eat. Your skin starts turning a pale yellow, and you forget things more often. You start to neglect cooking meat before eating it, and you generally don't take care of hygeine problems that used to concern you greatly. People around you die and have similar symptoms. You can start to feel your joints becoming more restricted, lowering mobility. You have trouble saying words. You start fighting and murdering people. You can feel your brain being squished by the overdevelopment of your skull. Finally, you can't put two and two together on any of the trauma you've experienced. You're confused and afraid, but don't know what you fear. Paranoia can't manifest in you, but there's a pain in your soul as you become unwilling to answer the questions you used to ask yourself. You no longer hold any of the horrific memories obtained during this transformation.
