Quick question, when you were on the ridge, and if there were people coming from the opposite direction-how do you let each other pass? That has always been a big fear and has limited me a bit. Thanks.

It’s wide enough that you can pass side by side (like a sidewalk). However, if it’s to skinny to pass side-by-side, you might need to wait for an oncoming party to pass before you proceed, or they will wait for you :) hope that helps! I think you’d do good on this trail

Is the hike safe for the less active/seniors/ with kids under 10 yrs old? Thanks

Hiking to the teahouse may be too difficult for inactive seniors. But for active seniors and active kids, it can be something worth doing! Even partially (during my time there I saw some children and senior couples on the hike). However, if you are unsure about the ability within your group, hiking to the rear of Lake Louise (a few km) is great for people of all skills and ages. You will still get many great photo opportunities! Thanks for watching!
