I know a lot of the entities look a bit different from how they are imaged on their articles, but the SCP story is told across a multiverse of endless potentialities, and it's lovely to see a game that could actually fit quite snugly into a parallel reality with its own unusual history. 106 releasing you into his pocket dimension instead of killing you outright is an excellent touch.

Pretty sure that’s a guard, Mobile Task Forces are only deployed when there’s a breach, or anomalies are discovered in the “wild” so to speak. The whole endurance project seems like a way to keep all these scps contained and not worry about breaches, mainly by keeping a class d there to keep them preoccupied. That part is just speculation, really, but Yknow. Anyways, if this was a MTF, they’d probably be in the facility dealing with a breach, that’s like their primary directive. This guy is just outside the site guarding it, like, oh I dunno, a guard? Lmao.

Quick Note for those who didn’t notice: Several parts of this game (at least 173’s starting area, probably 049’s as well) are derived from SCP: Containment* Breach (unless Security Breach draws from somewhere else for its environment, in which case, the Endurance draws from there). Either way, the two games share locations, which is neat.

@Cluke6 Жыл бұрын
@@xera1708 This is mostly right but not exactly. He gave permission for the SCP Wikidot to use it (Though wasn't happy with the arrangement); The issue arose because the SCP wiki uses a creative commons license for all of its works meaning basically anyone can use their works freely, as they see fit and even commercialize them. Yet, SCP 173 wasn't theirs to commercialize and people were commercializing him so they had to do away with him as it wasn't their design, it wasn't the community's design and too many bad actors had tried to profit off of 173.

What if the devs added a gamemode where, you are in your office, everything starts out normal until you hear "Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 has entered the facility." on the P.A. system followed by "Warning: Multiple Hostiles detected in the facility.". Then the objective changes from "Survive till 6 AM" to "Survive to earn your freedom", as in you gotta fight off the SCPs AND MTF until the Chaos Insurgents get to you. You can use SCPs in your favor, to slow down MTF, but it will also screw you over sometimes.
@raptorlewis Жыл бұрын
This idea could work in regular play if you somehow led the Insurgency to one of the SCPs and let them capture it. They're not interested in D-Class, but they could be used as an opportunity to get rid of one of your key threats for the rest of the night.
@ConstantBit9 Жыл бұрын
@@raptorlewis Well, Chaos Insurgency are interested in Class-Ds, because each Class-D can represent a potential Soldier, Scientist or Test Subject for the Insurgency. But then again, this is my interpretation. Plus, some Class-Ds might have useful secrets or information learned during a Containment Breach the size of that in SCP: CB, so it's worth the shot.
@raptorlewis Жыл бұрын
@@ConstantBit9 D-Class don't survive Containment Breaches, and the Insurgency don't 'recruit' D-Class because they rarely know anything the Insurgency doesn't already know. That happened in CB because the protagonist was an extraordinary case. Usually the D-Class are locked down in containment breaches, and if they're loose, they are killed when the relevant task force sweeps the breach site. Insurgents basically kill anything that isn't an SCP (and some SCPs too.) Baiting them away from you and getting them to nab an SCP would make more sense in canon, which this game otherwise seems to follow.

I absolutely adore the idea of taking already existing creatures and translating them to a FNaF format, but many games don’t do it very well. Inaccuracies due to limitations of the engine, poorly programmed mechanics, etc. but this game honestly does it perfectly and it’s so satisfying to see an SCP I already know everything about be shown in a first person light like this with such accuracy. I genuinely didn’t expect the game to do anything with 106s whole pocket dimension thing, but they did and I sincerely applaud them for trying to implement it at all and even more for how well they did. And the attention to detail with the fake 035 mask protecting you from SCPs because they assume you’re possessed by them? I never would’ve even thought of that, but that makes so much in-universe sense, I love it! TLDR; I know too much about SCP, but that just lets me understand how well this game handles the characters in a way that feels undeniably canon. Even the bit about you being a D-class grasping at straws trying to get out by putting your life on the line feels like something that would happen! Of course, I don’t know if all these entities are actually in the same facility, so there might be some discrepancy there, but that’s a drop in a bucket compared to the amazing work done here!

It’s just so cool seeing so many iconic SCPs represented in one fan game, each with their own mechanics and personalities. It’s the same reason that I loved SCP: Containment Breach so much back in the day. I also think it’s really great that projects like this can bring new people into the community, just like Containment Breach. The decision to include the descriptions of the SCPs was brilliant, and although I’m very well-aquatinted with the original stories for all of these characters (they’re all among the most iconic SCPs ever), seeing PlainTrace, somebody who doesn’t know so much about SCPs, reading them for the first time and reacting to them made me so happy. For me SCP and FNAF mechanics are the perfect marriage and I liked that they weren't too faithful to the anomalies, a great game for me to do one with Trevor Henderson's universe that also fit.

Something you forgot to mention was the different commands you can use in the computer. The most important one is “Vent”, this toggles the vent system so you don’t have to click the server room each time

Tip: When you fail to keep SCP-049 away from your office and he eventually gets in, you can quickly shut off the power by switching the lever before he jumpscares you. So if he is in the office, you don't need to give up yet.

its funny how most SCP's in this game are way more passive then their cannon and actual agressive behavior

I'll be honest, the fact that tic tac toe is in a fnaf game is wild, and the fact that it works well is even more so. massive props to the dev for thinking so far outside the norm for a fnaf fan game

Could you imagine a game that uses SCP 3000 at full capacity How cool/ terrifying would that be

Dang I have respect for the creator for working on the project for 7 years, a lot of people would just quit after a couple years. But you can tell he's passionate and the game turned out so well!

when 096 looked at you, and the game continued with tense sounds/music in the background, that made my heartrate spike. I knew hat was coming, but not when. Definitely the most scary part of the game

I got a add of a Disney show on 6:49 the moment Plain was showing SCP 106 jumpscare, for me it looked like 106 wanted to show me to add.

Imagine if we get a sequel of sorts but with completely different SCPs There are literal thousands of them, after all, even if not all of them are hostile

The diatonic scale playing when you pull SCP 066’s strings basically means that you can pull its strings to play the SCP like a guitar

I remeber when the dev of the game played a fnaf fan game that was made for him and later in the video he showed the progress of the game. I remeber the vent mechanic

As a Polish viewer of Eleven's channel, he is truly underrated. As an OG having watched him for 7 years me and other viewers loved seeing him tease the game and talk about it the whole time, how he had to take breaks from uploading just so that he could fix bugs, he had health issues out of sudden that had to have been taken care of but he still worked on the game but skipped on uploads and it was STILL so fun to see him come back healthy and full of enthusiasm talking about the game and it's issues. To this day every time he uploads he says ''Shit, I have to relearn how to make videos'' because he was so commited to finishing this game, at last, without getting help from anyway, he did it by himself.

For the night 6 true ending: You gotta activate the middle (main) elevators for you to go up. But you can't just do that, because you need power. So you have to deactivaste other things, for example: the 049 elevators & some cameras

The thing I love about the mask is that it implies that 106 knows what 035 is, and doesn't want anything to do with it
@concept5631 Жыл бұрын
Even better is that 106 is potentially smart enough to know that we aren't actually 035, he's just so off put by it that he leaves for a bit.

This really feels like a game that works with the entire SCP thing. SCP itself isn't as scary as it is interesting and well thought out, and it feels like they've executed that vibe very well

If you're really interested still in SCPs and their lore and such, I'd highly recommend checking out The Volgun, as he does SCP reading videos that can be very good to put on as a sort of podcast.
