Hii, I'm currently in Teacher Training and I just wanted to throw in a little suggestion from some things i've learned that may help. For your Footwork notes you could say something like Arches l l, Heels V, Heels \__/ Heels together toes apart (pilates v)- V Toes together heels apart- /\ Parallel- l l Wide- \__/ , /--\

I like the way you plan in your head with a framework in mind that you build off of. I do the same thing… I use the basic order that Joe Pilates used as a framework and essentially just omit or add whatever variations or modifications my clients need.

Love it. I would probably add the part of the body you are working out so you can plan full-body training or specify parts. Tks for sharing

Hi I just brought this. I like it and have already made a lesson plan, but how do I duplicate the template and add new text? I have tried but everytime I try to write new text it overwrites my original class plan. I just want to re-use the template for a new class plan. thank you!

@@MissyP166 hey!! Here are some steps to follow that might be helpful: 1. Choose the template you would like to work with (mat, reformer, client chart, etc.) 2. Hover to the top left of the section and 6 dots will appear 3. Click the 6 dots and click “duplicate” 4. Once the copy is made, click the 6 dots again and click “unsync” 5. From here, you will have a new copy that you can customize and move it to a client page, or any other pages you prefer to have that plan. 6. You can also re-name this specific section to the name of your choice and it won’t tie back to the original template or replace it since it’s unsynced Hope this helps!! Let me know ☺️

@@pilatesonthegreen Omg! Sorry, How did I not figure that out! Thank you.. While youre there, dont suppose you know how to add them to appear within a page, similar to excel where you can create tabs across the page? Instead of having each plan going down. Hope that makes sense

what else do you end w besides feet in straps?
@pilatesonthegreen8 күн бұрын
So many options to choose from! Sometimes I'll finish with a standing stretch (like eve's lunge or forward fold facing the footbar with hands on carriage pushing in and out for cat/cow - 1 blue spring), sometimes mermaid, sometimes pigeon on the chair, sometimes supine twist on the reformer. For privates I'll oftentimes close with stretches on the ladder barrel. Just think of passive moves or a stretch that could be a good way to close off the sequence you taught that "ties it all together"

how long when you started feeling comfortable teaching, after your initial training
@pilatesonthegreenАй бұрын
It took a solid 6-12 months for me to really find my teaching style and confidence after I passed the NCPT exam. To this day, I still get more and more comfortable as time goes on, which is such a beautiful part about teaching Pilates - you will constantly get more comfortable with experience 🤍

What did you mean by squats on the short box?
@pilatesonthegreen8 ай бұрын
I’ll have my clients place the short box on the reformer, in front of the shoulder blocks, and place their heels in a mid high heel position against the box (standing on the reformer and facing the footbar) they squat from there! Feet can also be flat on the mat in front of the box, one heel lifted on the box / one foot flat, so on. There are ao many variations from this position after squatting that you can do too like placing hands on the footbar and going straight into planks, pikes, jack rabbit, etc ☺️ just make sure to adjust the springs if they are heavier during the squats for support
