Your journal is always so beautiful!!!!! For the tabs, you could cut all of them straight and then make a tab and glue it down, but that might not be a look you want.

This is sooooooo pretty!!!! Being the 'evil twin' I HATE tea... but I do love pretty teacups and teapots and will sneak my coffee into one given the chance 🥰 I got a great laugh with your tabs 'FUBAR' 😂 I've been there so now I always measure 20 times and cut once. You rescued it well. Your 'weekly' setup lives will be a challenge I'm looking forward to ❤ 🫖☕

@@ErinSmith For example, how do you put different kinds of pens to use, what purposes do you keep them for? If you had something similar in the past, what makes the current option better? And are there still drawbacks worth mentioning? I also have a peculiar problem: when I write something in the upper side of a page of my reading journal, the ink comes out evenly, but in the lower side of a page, it doesn’t. My writing becomes patchy, and I have to correct it in the same way you correct your vintage letter stamps. If you may come up with any recommendations or solutions, I would be really grateful, but if not, providing general information about your pens would be more than enough. Thank you so much. In the last few days, I binge-watched your videos - they are such a huge inspiration!

What if you use some of the paper you cut off to make your own tabs? I'm not sure how you'd attach it to the page, but it might be worth a try. Kind of like adding those Post-It tabs to the page, but being able to make it whatever color you want.

Overall, great video! How are you liking the Mellows Day journal? Do you like using the watercolor pages?

In general I like it, but it has a few little things that irk me. I love the soft sepia dots, I love the creamy pages and I’ve gotten used to the page texture mostly. I don’t love how close the dots sit to the page edges, that the page texture doesn’t play nicely with Pigma Microns, and that the dots don’t line up well from one page or signature to the next. I don’t think I see myself using another one in the future but it’s not a bad journal by any means - it just isn’t my ideal! I hope that helps!
