I had no idea frog themes were so popular. I also did frogs for March XD haha. I went with monochrome green, but I love your color combo!

Earlier, I thought of doing a book theme but then I realized it was too difficult 😂 and then I saw your video and thought 💭 I don’t know know how to draw frogs but ended up in trying and doing the frog theme! Go 🐸! 😂❤🎉

Side note - could you make a video on lettering coloring ideas or creative pallet ideas for lettering to use with Tombows. I really liked your calligraphy video, but have a hard time shading with the markers and end up ruining my lettering bc my coloring choices don't look great.

yes so i don’t plan to make a long form video but i have like 3-4 shorts/reels/tiktok’s with various tutorials, and ill prob continue to make more down the line :) just as a general tip tho, the best blends are with the same colors in different values (light medium and dark green for example), although i have seen some impressive blends w multiple colors. and also, water based markers are streaky and dry fast so they’re hard to blend in general, which is why i prefer blending w alcohol markers. however, you can still do it w water based, but its prob not your fault the lettering is streaky, its just more difficult :)).

@@mingostudio This reply was so helpful! Thank you! Realizing it is definitely water based marker and getting too impressive with colors. It's such a bummer to get a great sketch and then ruin it with irrational color choices. Simple is better sometimes.

to be totally honest i don’t have a preference. both are very similar and come in a lot of sizes! i thinkkk ohuhu’s are cheaper tho if that helps sway you. :)

It's based on ivy (latin name is hedera helix) it's a rampant plant quite common in Europe, it can stick to walls/fence/trees and if not cut regularly can slowly cover the entire exterior walls of a house.
