First off: love the voice-over! You should definitely try inktober again! It doesn't matter if you finish, or even if it all looks good, it only matters that you ink as often as you can and enjoy the process

I did grab a cup of tea and watch the entire video. It's very entertaining and so satisfying to watch, time flies in your videos! I don't even like the color purple normally, but here it looks awesome in contrast with the black and the metallic paint. Talking so long about what you draw is really hard haha I struggle too, I guess it comes with time. Btw, the way you say "doodle" is really cute!

for inktober - if you're feeling overwhelmed, try setting yourself a challenge of just getting SOMETHING drawn for it - even a doodle or quick sketch - as long as you did that little bit of art every day, it's an achievment! I'm sure you already know very well that the official inktober list isn't the only prompt list out there, too. There are a lot that are simply a prompt per week! I've taken one of those to apply to my weekly spreads this year - as well as hosting my own prompt list HAHA.

this is such a gorgeous setup! your intricate drawings always turn out incredible, and i think doing the dutch door to make it a bit more doable is a great idea. as for inktober, ive stopped participating in the official event since the creator trademarked it and plagiarized another artists work, but there are some great alternative events happening at the same time. ive actually done my daily art in my bullet journal, as small doodles on a larger spread. i could also see setting up a collection that lists the prompts you're following, and keeping track of which ones you complete. biggest thing is dont take it too hard if life stops you from completing the challenge! theres no shame in taking things at your own pace

Ich liebe dieses! I want to add that your hand-lettering looks fantastic! It’s far better than anything that I could do. I’m planning on using Dutch doors for October, but I haven’t decided yet on what type of weeklies I want use. If you have time to participate in Inktober, I say go for it. Friends of mine participated a few years ago and when they didn’t have time on one day, they’d catch up the next. It also doesn’t have to be a formal thing. Play along on your own as you want.
