hi friends!! thank u for being patient for this setup! I had some audio issues 😭 anyway for my september bullet journal setup i did a long overdue studio ghibli/kiki's delivery service inspired theme :) i can't believe it's already been 3 years since the last time i did a ghibli plan with me! i hope you guys enjoy!! i've been working hard at preparing for the new doodle planner launch & i can't wait to show you guys everything!

I love how much more free-er you are with your bujo themes this year and doing what you like and not worrying if it will be too niche or doodle heavy or whatever. I remember the Ghibli theme in 2020, you were super worried that people would think it's too doodle heavy and inaccessible, but I like that you're just following your passion for the themes this year and the themes feel more reflective of your daily and personal life instead of catering to the general ideas.

I cook for one at home. I recently found a great channel on here and I'm very inspired by just watching this woman cook her meals every day. I often do the same meal or something similar. She's not trying to teach recipes but she shows her shopping, then her cooking eating. Nothing is too complicated and that just inspires me to cook.

Tips for cooking for one person, plan out the whole week so you can use up most ingredients to not end up with a lot of left overs and spoiled food. I also like to cook a bigger portion so I can easily warm up left overs the next day if I know I will be busy! also love this theme!! can't believe it's 3 years since the last kiki theme, feels like only last year:o

Oh my gosh I'm so happy Studio Ghibli is back!!! Also I live on my own and I like using eMeals for helping with cooking, you pick a plan and every week they send you seven recipes to choose from and they will even make a grocery list for you! I've been using it a ton this year, it's awesome

Loved this! Something that I cook for myself that’s really easy is white rice with chicken and veggies. I just cook the rice in a pot, the chicken in a pan with butter, and the veggies in a pan with butter and garlic and soy sauce. It’s simple but it’s so tasty and I’ve gotten into the habit of making it super often 😊

with all the nostalgia themes this month, you almost feel like a childhood youtuber to me. i remember learning calligraphy from you in 2018 (5 years ago!!!) starting with faux handlettering and to now, where i've learned so many calligraphy styles and use them almost everywhere. although bullet journalling didn't work out for me, you were my inspiration to start scrapbooking and all things graphic design. thank you! edit: please watch 莲花楼! it came out this year and i loved it so so much!

I got a Kiki's Delivery Service tattoo last month (August) and I got it for all the reasons you love the movie. I struggle with my depression and burnout a lot and I knew I just needed Kiki and Jiji to keep my company while I continue to work through it. I love your spreads as always but this one hit home. I love the look of the pencil crayons. I know they aren't as popular as markers with lot of people but I decided not to order markers for my classroom this year to cut down on the single use plastics. Now that they have no other option, my students are starting to actually like pencil crayons better

i feel like the color used for tuesday on the calendar spread was maybe a little too dark or maybe you shouldve pressed lighter bc you cant really see the black writing of ‘tuesday’ then again it doesnt matter too much bc you can use context clues to know that its tuesday & what numbers are on the same color dots as well but for me personally im a perfectionist so it erks me a tad. its your spread tho & i think it turned out so pretty so please dont take this as hate! love ya amanda 💝

OMG, You should try watercolor pencils and see how you like them!! Much faster coloring in! That way you wouldn't have to do the 2 layers. Anyway, just another medium to play with. Derwent Inktense are good ones!👍👍👍

I had a similar process when I had to draw stuff for school but switch out the marker with a graphite pencil. I use a graphite pencil for the shadow parts and put a colouring pencil on top. It seems to work for me. I don't have an art background so take it with a grain of salt if anyone is skeptical.
