One of my cats has FIP. Thankfully, the other one didn't get it. She's on a very expensive rx but is much better! She wasn't eating and I thought I just needed to change her food but then I realized she wasn't bonkers crazy anymore and took her into the vet.

I'm glad that Scout is doing better. One of my cats has the feline corona virus that causes FIP, he's had it for years and apart from gingivitis, he has had no symptoms and just lives with it. From my research when he was first diagnosed, the virus doesn't always mutate and cause FIP, so fingers crossed the Scout will be like my Fiyero and will just live a long and healthy life with the virus.

I may have missed it, but did your other cat pass? Her name was Liberty, correct?

@@lauren_holt yes. She passed peacefully in December. She was 15 ½. I’m grateful for every one of those years. And I’m so glad I have more cats in my life. Three is a lot though. The kittens have been bringing my 7 year old cat in on the mischief lately. 😂
