I was praying about how easily irritated I was getting and God planted the thought in my mind: Be like an oyster and turn your irritations into pearls. I love knowing that those little annoyances can refine my character and be opportunities to bless the world with God's love.

This was great. I lost my 14 year old golden retriever in October and I miss him every single day. He was my light in every day. I now have a brand new puppy (I showed you him. ;) ) and I have to really change my attitude -- although he's adorable, he's ALOT of work, work that is infringing on my free time that I've come to love. Thankfully, my husband, who really wanted the dog, is taking the brunt of the work (getting up in the middle of the night to take him out, watching him in the morning...). But you know dogs. Mama is who they want....I love how showed your change of plans. I know your dog is going to be so happy. Seriously, they are more intuitive than we think. Thank you so much for sharing. :)

Nice! Love watching these.. ❤ I got my daughter into planning and she loved this method as do I. We started incorperating your method last year. Hi Jenny, My dogs are the same way. I let them out first thing when I get up, give them some love and then they are good and ready to go back to sleep during my quiet time. I’m also doing a reading plan to read through the Bible this year. It is called Tear Up Your Bible 2.0 by Jason Mayfield. It is also on the You Version Bible app, which I love. I listen to it read out loud while I follow along in my Bible. It just helps me focus that much more. Thanks for the new video. I always love them!

Add this one to my list of favorites. So true about accepting what we cannot change and blessing it into our life instead of snarling through the whole day mad about it. I have to confess my heart just melted when Blayne was telling you of his Mac and Cheese desires! He is growing up right before my eyes! I love the way you made changes to your day on the fly instead of scrapping your ideal plan! I admit your day is probably busier than my whole week, but it is inspirational to see ideas and dream. This is why I get up so stinking early.... I want to have quiet and time for my God time and journaling etc. I need that... lately though I am dealing with the dog (who is special needs) first thing so she doesn't wake up my daughter but I will live with that as long as she is quiet.
