Loved the unboxing experience of the S12 2024 edition and you get the best of two worlds: great detail and tonality whiteout any sibilance. The IEMs are also made out of titanium alloy.

Original T10 is truly excellent, I still use it regularly, if you could get a good good fit and handle a bit of excess ear gain 2-2.5k energy, it's exceptional

I have yet to get a planar set. I have about a dozen iems. ALL ultra low budget. All under $20 including Castor bass, Saga bass. Not sure if i would like the sound of a planar.

I do not recommend in-ear planar headphones. They need additional power and you can't listen to them normally on a smartphone or computer. Hybrid or armature headphones give excellent sound and do not require an additional output power amplifier.

I tried to understand S12/S12Pro twice - but always sold for the same reason. The midrange always sounded muffled/calm against the rest of the range, for example, in the composition ZAZ- "Que vendra" the vocals always sounded somewhere behind the guitars, you make it louder - the vocals come closer, but at the same time there is an unpleasant ringing of guitar strings. Or the track Jean-Michel Jarre "London Kid" - there is a solo synthesizer that sets the melody and performed by S12 it sounds somehow background (not captivating at all), even cheap C2 Mech Warrior and 7Hz Zero do not have this problem. Everything was listened to and compared more than once on stationary players and amplifiers. And Panda won in this comparison (until EW200 arrived and Xenns Tea2 were sold 🙂).

@@genaishivatov1737 I agree and understand what you are referring too. However I found that in my particular case , with a deep insertion those issues are practically eliminated on the S12 Pro. S12 still has a little too much energy at the 2k energy for me, buy tolerable.
