As a christian, I saw faith towards his God in him and I was proud of him. Not many people have faith in God. I'm glad he made it out alive. He made me cry. May God rest the souls of the departed.

It is just impossible to get those pilots courage out of my head, how hard they tried with a doomed aircraft by the way they put it into a dive to gain speed then climb back up trying so hard to get as much distance covered which was basically a glider, it makes my heart sick. The crew perished along with many others, but they are the hero's of this tragic event 🙏

Not a muslim myself but three things I want to stay. 1. In Medjugorje, Our Lady, said the one who loved God most in the village was a moslem lady, in the way she lived and served God in one another. 2. Their sense of modesty, when in the western world they dress in as revealing a way possible , something Saint Jacintha of Fatima spoke of and said how offensive it was in the sight of God. 3 In how devoted they are to daily prayer. I saw this myself when at their time of prayer they sought a suitable place urgently. ( in an airport). In christian and catholic countries, Our Lord and Saviour Jesus is often abandoned in the Blessed Sacrament and in churches. Something gone terribly wrong I'm sad to say. The man may have well survived anyway but his faith in God might have been a bigger factor.

It sounds like the crew, both flight attendants and pilots, were consummately professional right to the end. That's why flight crews should be treated with the respect they are due. Don't be rude to them and thank them when you get off the plane. Their job is much more than just hauling you from place to place and serving you lunch.

I think it is a miracle that so many survived. The account from this passenger is surreal. He made a video record that will be remembered forever. Condolences to all families affected. We should wait for final analysis of this event. I hope the truth comes out. It seems there was an accidental shooting which should not happen but is not unexpected in a war zone. The part I find most concerning is the reports that the crew was denied access to Russian airports after being struck by a Russian missile. It also seems the Russians tried to hide that this has happened. Forcing the plane to cross the sea without functional flight control would be unconscionable. I hope it is not true but keep an open mind to all possible facts that I hope are revealed in truth.
