Claiming it DOES is moronic because the required training for either being a pilot or air traffic controller is intellectually rigorous (more than being US president or a member of his cabinet apparently). DEI is about finding the BEST candidate regardless of skin color or gender - not pushing incompetents into command positions because they fit your prejudices.

I've seen DEI promote employees that shouldn't be promoted. That's the fact.

Yeah it’s not about meeting the minimum it’s about hiring the best candidates. If someone scrapes by on an assessment by 1% they shouldn’t get the position over someone who scored 30% higher because they fill a quota
