Plane Spotting Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport 22-8-2022 | Delta 717 & 757 Galore!

My first ever plane spotting compilation from the USA! This is a 45 minute compilation from Atlanta Airport. I booked a room in the Renaissance Hotel which is right next to the airport. High rooms facing south have a balcony with a great view of the airport! It was amazing to be able to spot so nicely from my hotel room, which is nr 718. I was able to film landings on runway 26R and take off's on runway 26L. The Delta Flight Museum is close by aswell if you want a short break of spotting. Atlanta Airport is huge! It's the world's busiest airport by passenger numbers. It's basically the home of Delta Airlines. I think I saw just about every airplane type from their fleet. My main focus was on the many Boeing 717's and 757's. I even got a couple of 757-300's. There are many short-haul planes from major airlines which I've never seen before! Think of the American, United and Delta 737's for example. But I also saw a couple of airlines which I've never seen before. Alaska Airlines, Spirit, Frontier; very nice to see them! Southwest Airlines is offcourse also present at Atlanta and I was lucky to see one of their special liveries: Florida One. Qatar Airways came in with a Oneworld liveried 777-300ER. At the end of the day KLM came in with the Skyteam Boeing 777-300ER. I always like to see my home airline far away from home. When darkness had fallen I tried to film a couple cargo heavies from UPS. These were a 767, an A300 and I stood up in the middle of the night to film an MD-11 depart too! I couldn't make the best footage but the sounds will do nicely! Missing from the 'other' Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta KZbin video I watched, is a title bar with descriptions of each flight both coming and going. LAX spotting shows have people doing those types of descriptions. JMS

Last summer we flew on a Delta Airlines A320 to Atlanta for a layover then we flew on an A321 to Texas. The Atlanta airport is nice but the only part I didn't like was the trams they moved too fast LOL

Dont forger Atlanta is thé Big HUB of east cost. I have Taken a Delta 767-300 to Miami. It was at 5pm so rush hour. All 4 runways were busy for take off and landing. Even queue on taxiways. 5th runway was not built . Gelukkig nieuwjaar Rudi🍾🎉🎇
